The collection represents property appraisals and photographs of buildings located in Bingham Canyon, Main Street, Carr Fork, Markham Gulch, Markham Ave, Freeman Gulch, Freeman Ave, Hagland Ave, Dixon Ave, Rail Road Ave, Heaston Heights, Mayne Yard, Wolfe Place, Wolfe Yard, Ekman Place, Yamma Heights, Phoenix Town, Highland Boy, Culleton Yard, Point House, Utah Copper, Utah Delaware, Lark, Copperfield, Authur Plant, and Magna. Intrinsically the collection contains appraisals and photographs for 1937 and 1959. Included are details related to assessment values up into the early 1970s. The photographs represent the years 1936, although a few photographs were taken in the 1940s. The appraisal cards contain documentation on ownership, building location, kind of building, stories, street number, foundation, walls, roof type, dormers, bays, porches, plumbing, heating, and lighting. The back of the card provides detailed sketches with dimensions drawn to scale. They document remodeling, extensions, additions, and dates related to demolition or “moved”.
